Flick that Brush!

Black with      makes abstract art. You water down the paint colours that you want to use so that they can flick onto your black paper. Dip that paint brush into the paint and flick it on to paper. Sorry this is so short !

Tick Tock Goes The Clock

Time, Time, Time. Our last sesion of time BOO WHOO. It was really fun to do the activities especially the techie challenge to measure a time of one minute. It was really fun today because we had a big discussion about whether or not time is what you see when you look at a clock, or is time what you remember to see in your mind. I learned that you never see yesterday or tomorrow!

"Go on to Prezi and make an account to make you prezitation" Katie said, so that is what we did. We made a Prezi account ( by the way if you don't have a clue what prezi is it is a website where you can make posters). Theres a lot of templates to chose from. I chose a world map to show the places i've been here it is.

Hi, 

My writing style is a bit different today because we were learning calligraphy. It is really fun. First we did the practice figures and then we moved onto the tricky letters. It was really hard.Now we are can do a wordle - a shape of calligraphy  letters or a picture of letters. I’ve always wanted to do calligraphy so this was prefect.

Long time no see. Sorry I have not posted in a while we were doing reflections so we did not have time to post. Where was I at last time oh yeah I was posting about poetry but we finshed that so I will go on to Art. We were printing our lino prints. This is what you: your first print is a fully black one. Then you go and choose you ink to do a insurance print. An insurance print is a print so even if you mess up on your others you still have a good print. It is lots of fun!

Mad Pad

I'm not posting about talent development today. Insted I am posting about poetry. We did a workshop on the Ipads. We did lots of apps that I had never seen before: like Mad Pad and others. We published our poetry on an app called Pic Collage. These are my poems:

You know how I keep posting about art, well today I'm still posting about art but for a treat I will post some of my poetry I have been doing over the last 2 weeks. We had done everything that Darryn wanted us to do. So guess what we did we when to the art gallery and Darryn said to learn art you have to see art so that is what we did. Next, we got back and we started a lino print. I'm doing two flowers.

Okay, Okay, that's enough of art! Onto poetry. We did free verse and haiku. Haiku is a poem of 3 lines with 5 - 7 - 5 syllables.

This is mine about chess:     

Chess

Pin forks and skewers

Scholars, en pesant moves

Stale-mate or checkmate.

This is my free verse:

A dull wet day hangs over the world.

Rushing and bustling, not caring to say to say hello.

Grey clouds drifting through the sky.

Droplets fall from the sky, hit the cold hard ground.

A pattering on the roof

And me curled up in bed.
