Caine's Arcade

Ali from Enrich news here. At Caine's Arcade, a flashmob has appeard outside where they have queued for about 4 hours to played some cardbroard games. Whoever thought a 9 year old boy could make an arcade with cardboard boxes. His first customer was a film producer and he set up a Facebook page to get people to come to Caine's Arcade! He also raised almost $250 000 dollars for a  scholarship for Caine!

Hi again,

Yay back at Enrich.

The Wilson game was Picadilly circus.

This is how you play:

You stand in a circle and with at lest 13 people.

1 person starts with the ball runs to a person then the person how ran to the other side sits down. You keep going around the circle 'till everybody down then the last person standing runs to the middle then runs back and sit down.

Animal Rights

Today at Enrich we had must do and picks. I did P.4.C with Katie. Our topic was animal rights and we had to list thing we could not live without like clothes, water, food, shelter and first aid and then we made a list of the things that animals could not live without.  Most of them were the same! Did you know they test pills and and cosmetics on animals? It's pretty sad what humans do to animals!

Week 6

Today at Enrich we did thinkers keys. We had the brainstorming key, ridiculous key and the variation key. The variation key is when you have to change your topic. Our topic was how to communicate with out talking. I had sign language and texting. Then I did the ridiculous key. Our topic was: if there was no shoes! Today was really fun.

POOR WHALES

Today at Enrich we had Grant Meikle from Sea Shepherd come to talk to us about whaling and how Japan is illegally whaling and how they're trying to stop them. Japan is selling humpback whales for one MILLION dollars US each. It was quite sad how the Japanese disobey the limit of whales they are allowed to catch. POOR WHALES.

Today at Enrich we played a Wilson game. It was called 2 orange 2 greens and a ball. You have to pass 5 objects around  the circle with out talking in the sequence e.g. if you started with green you had to get orange next. You also can't get the same thing twice. If you get the ball it does not interrupt the sequence. You sit down when you have had all 5 things. If you are one of the ending people and no-one needs that particular object then you sit in the middle.

Must Dos and Picks

Today at Enrich we had must do and picks. I started to design a garden for a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children) with a pool.  Part of the design is explaining why you have added in what you did. My garden has a heap of different kind of flowers to make it colourful, a deck so that the family has a nice space to hang out together. There were other must dos and picks like debating and where in the world and affective domain.
